Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore, is a remarkable Hollywood actress and author whose talents have earned her critical acclaim and recognition. Sagittarius. Born in North Carolina, on 3rd December 1960. She's the most senior of the three children born to Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) as well as Anne Smith, who is a psychologist. She has English as well as Scottish heritage. Moore was often in and out of her family due to the job of her father. It was difficult to maintain or make new friends. Moore was a student at Frankfurt American High School in Germany as her parents moved to America. Moore began her career on stage. The school she attended was Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with a B.F.A. When she graduated, Moore moved to New York where she started her career in off-Broadway theater. Moore is a theater graduate who attended the college in New York and started her acting career off Broadway when she moved from New York. In 1985 she appeared on stage in The Edge of Night. She took on two roles as Frannie and Sabrina Hughes in As the World Turns, which was her break. She was on this show until 1988 and won the Daytime Emmy Award for her performance. In 1990 she began her film debut with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie which she later described as a terrible low-budget film. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), both Robert Altman productions, were her debut films. The latter production, for which she won several awards and critical acclaim. Moore was offered her first leading role in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg gave Moore her first leading role in Safe (1995). The year 1997 was when her career as Moore reached a turning point. She was tapped to star as Jurassic Park: The Lost World. This movie became one of 1997's top-rated films. She was a part of Magnolia (1999) and was praised by critics and was awarded a SAG nomination for her part. In 2002, she starred alongside her co-stars in The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. Other films she has acted in are The Forgotten 2004 Freedomland 2006. Shelter (2010), etc. Non-Stop aired in 2014. Moore was in a variety of films and shows. She has starred in a number of films and television series. She was most recently seen in When You Finish Save the World 2022. She's established herself in Hollywood and is a bestselling author of children's books. Her first book Freckleface Strawberry was published in 2007 and became one of the bestsellers on New York Times. Best-seller, it was also adapted into series and a music. Her 2013 book, My Mom is A Foreigner was also a best-seller. Moore's personal life has been made public as a highly popular author and actress. Moore married John Robin back in 1984 The couple split in 1996. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore was later married in 2003 has two children with her. Moore's focus is on her friends, family and career.
